The social events include the following evening activities.   There will be a Welcome Reception, which is followed by night outing and shopping at the Vivo City (http://www.vivocity.com.sg) on the 1st July. There will be a Symposium Dinner (international buffet) on the 2nd July, and night tour (Orchard Road, Little india, Geylang, Esplanade, Merlion, Chinatown and Clarke Quay) hosted by the Singapore Society for Microbiology & Biotechnology.  Beach Farewell Party on Sentosa Island will be held on the 3rd July.   Bring along your beachwear, such as shorts and sandals.
